Brought in to settle the 2K26 era after Season 13 ended deadlocked, Phillip's Wizards and Joe's Spurs both stormed to a perfect-adjacent 13-1 regular season — and then both stumbled before the Finals. Phillip's Wizards were eliminated in the 1st round, while Joe's Spurs made it further but fell in the Conference Finals. K. Ware picked up 6th Man OTY and Most Improved POTY, E. Mobley won Defensive POTY, and LaMelo Ball took home Season MVP. With neither side breaking through, the 2k26 era's tiebreaker didn't tiebreak anything.
